If you loved The Da Vinci Code, you must read Dan Brown’s earlier book, Angels & Demons, which features the first appearance of Harvard professor and Da Vinci Code hero, symbologist Robert Langdon
When a priest is found murdered, branded with a symbol reading “Illuminati,” Langdon is summoned to investigate. He discovers an ancient brotherhood has resurfaced to destroy the Catholic Church—and it plans to detonate a bomb in the Vatican within 24 hours.
Joining forces with Vittoria Vetra, a beautiful scientist, Langdon embarks on a frantic hunt through sealed crypts, dangerous catacombs and deserted cathedrals, following a 400-year-old trail toward the long-forgotten Illuminati lair. They’re praying they’ll find it in time....

Went through the reviews and until this one there is only 1 review for 2012(most current).
I have read the Da Vince code and this author seems to build upon the same theme, secret societies etc, Gets a bit boring; I really don't recommend this book, and, if you haven't read any of his others, don't waste your money.

Amazing book. I loved the Da Vinci Code, but this one was even better!

If you like a good mystery, you'll love this book! I thoroughly enjoyed this book for the mystery that it was. I stayed up two hours one night to find out who the killer was only to find out the next day that I hadn't read far enough.

It was a great book, with vivid descriptions. So much better than the movie...of course.
