How does credit/debit card or PayPal billing work?
When you authorize us to use your credit/debit card or PayPal account for all future shipments and Club charges, we will automatically charge those items, including Featured Selections, using the payment method you selected. If applicable, your card or PayPal account may be charged for any remaining books required to complete your purchase commitment. If you have selected a credit or debit card as your payment method and the charge cannot be processed on that card (for example, the credit/debit card has expired or we cannot obtain authorization from your card issuer), then for your convenience we will charge any other credit or debit card you placed on file with us. When you update your payment method, any pending orders or charges, including Featured/Director's Selections, will be applied to the new payment methos you provided.
We accept payment by credit/debit card or PayPal. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express credit cards (and equivalent debit cards).
A valid credit/debit card or PayPal account must be kept on file for all future shipments and Club charges. Once you are a member you can use pre-paid/gift cards for one-time purchases.
Credit/Debit Card Pre-Authorization
We will first authorize your credit or debit card when an order is placed, then we will charge the card when we ship the order. Most credit card companies and banks will reserve funds for the order during the authorization process, but the funds will not be transferred from your account until we ship your order. Orders using a bank card will be processed as soon as bank authorization is received.
