The Beekman 1802 Heirloom Cookbook

The stars of TV’s The Fabulous Beekman Boys Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge live and work in a historic house on a large farm in Sharon Springs, NY, a rural community with no take-out or supermarket. With their meals dictated by the seasons, they lavish great time and love on their gardens and goats’ milk cheese. Now, they invite us to the table with seasonal fare based on family classics and local specialties. With Sandy Gluck, formerly of Martha Stewart's Everyday Food magazine, they’ve created an absolutely gorgeous cookbook. Featuring heirloom recipes, beautiful photography and pretty, patterned, pull-out pages you can use to preserve your family’s favorites, this is a book you'll love to use season after season. Color photos.

A favorite of mine,,

I really liked this cookbook. The stories were entertaining, but the real gem is the true recipes that are spelled out and easy to follow. I used the Nut recipes for my Christmas give aways, and they were many comments on where to get the recipe.

Heirloom Cook Book.

A good book for those who like passing recipes and kitchen talk to the next generation, Teir is a beautiful place to put your own recipes along side theirs. Place where you can comment on their recipes. I plan on giving one to my daughter and son.

I love this cookbook. It has gorgeous photos, great recipes and stories. And to top it all off it has several pages with built in folders and recipe cards to add your own family heirloom recipes. This will be a cookbook I'll pick up again and again.
