Once again, I was lured into purchasing this book by Sandra's gorgeous and inspiring photographs and cool tips she offers in each section. But...I really dislike how most recipes require so many hard to find ingredients or ingredients that require you to buy the exact brand. I have tried substitutions with similar products and have come up with not-so-good results. Her ideas are always unique, and I really enjoy the section where she attempts to duplicate many Girl Scout Cookie flavors-but when the shopping takes longer than the baking, I tend to get annoyed. (I actually purchased this from a bookstore rather than the book club).
