Someone is killing New York City’s hottest male prostitutes, and it’s up to full-time call boy, part-time sleuth Kevin Connor to find out who. As he begins his investigation, there’s no shortage of possible suspects or motives, including a sadistic head case with a deadly fetish, a high-profile celebrity worried that his biggest secret might get out and a right-wing politician, guilty of protesting too much from his pious soapbox.
The sequel to Scott Sherman’s First You Fall, Second You Sin pits the hustler with spectacular boy-next-door looks, quick wit and ability to role-play even the most outrageous scenarios against a ruthless killer. Will Kevin be trapped in a scandalous web of secrets where no sin goes unpunished?

I so enjoyed the first book and this book did not disappoint. It's a great story, with lots of action, humor and a great ending.

Didn't read the first in the series but certainly will now. Totally entertaining, a quick read and an even better twisted plot. I'm not only a convert, I'm an addict to this story and characters.

As soon as I discovered Scott Sherman's "Second You Sin," the impatiently awaited follow-up to 2008's exciting "First You Fall" among Insightout's featured offerings, I snapped it up, eager for more of call boy-sleuth Kevin Connor's boyishly sexy charm and strange, alluring misadventures.
"Second You Sin," like its predecessor, is an addictive summer read, by turns humorously breezy and darkly compelling, and sprinkled throughout with amusing pop culture references. Summer being a few months off yet, I dove into the story right away, intrigued by the intertwining complexities of Kevin's relationships with his sweetly oddball clients, gorgeous BFF Freddy, and wacky but fiercely loving Jewish mom, Sophie, whose run-in with Yvonne, a larger than life Sally Jessy-Jenny-Oprah daytime diva who deigns to bring her fabulousness to "Sophie's Choice Tresses," is priceless.
But the heart of the story is Kevin's off again-on again-off again affair with the childhood love of his life, Tony Rinaldi, a gorgeous, conflicted cop with a secret. In the midst of Kevin's struggles to balance his sex work and family obligations, and reconcile his out and proud self-respect with his desire for a life with the closeted Tony, he discovers New York's hottest male prostitutes are being systematically killed. How, with a little help from his friends, he unravels the bizarre mystery is the crux of this engrossing, page-turner tale.
It wraps up a little too neatly, almost abruptly, at the end, but not enough to spoil the journey. In fact, the surprise ending whets your appetite for Series Three. (Third You Think? Thrice You Thrust..? Sorry, Scott.)
Oh--and if you love Streisand--and who on earth doesn't?--you'll delight in Sherman's clever chapter titles.
