It’s a glorious day when the Saints win the Super Bowl on the heels of Carnival season, and it feels as though absolutely everyone in New Orleans is floating on Cloud Nine—everyone, that is, except intrepid detective Scotty Bradley. For him, the Carnival season is looking particularly grim. It seems his estranged cousin—who just so happens to play for the Saints—is the number-one suspect in the brutal murder of his girlfriend, the beautiful and dethroned former Miss Louisiana, Tara Bourgeouis.
In Greg Herren’s Who Dat Whodunnit, Scotty’s not wholly convinced his shifty-eyed cousin is innocent, but when he starts digging around the homophobic beauty queen’s past, he finds no shortage of people who wanted her dead. With the help of his friends and family, he quickly unearths a variety of clues, red herrings and dirty laundry in his pursuit of the crazed psychopath responsible.
As he plunges deeper into Tara’s bizarre, twisted world of grainy sex tapes and power-hungry fascists, he finds more and more horrifically warped secrets—secrets that someone was willing to kill to keep. This murder mystery is a macabre joy, and a camp confectionary treat!
