Wit and wisdom never go out of style! On the grand runway of life, we all need a mentor—and Tim Gunn is just the man for the job. In Gunn’s Golden Rules, we’re treated to his personal secrets for “making it work,” whether “it” happens to be your career, your relationships or your life in general.
Brimming with deliciously dishy stories and featuring cameos by fashion’s most outrageous divas, Gunn pulls back the curtain on Project Runway’s biggest drama queens, details of his closely guarded private life and scandalous tidbits about the staff of Vogue. (Did you know, for example, that André Leon Talley likes to be hand-fed grapes, and Anna Wintour is occasionally carried around by her bodyguards?)
Best of all, we have Tim’s down-to-earth and easily applicable guidelines for making life better—eighteen tried-and-true principles that will help you succeed at anything you set your mind to. You’ll learn the downfalls of divadom, how to be a good friend and the secret to finding and maintaining success: hard work, creativity and skills are just the beginning! If you’re looking to design a happy, fulfilling life, Tim Gunn will show you how to get there!

This was a poorly written book that was for the most part a biography, although even at that, the story was "thin". I expected more from someone that has a fairly large career. It could have been way better written and a much richer read. Sorry Tim, you are great, your book isn't.

This was very interesting. I watch the show all the time & thought he was so witty so I bought his book. It was GREAT, so insiteful to the show & him. He tells little short stories about his life & things that happen on the show.
